What steps should I take to help sell my home?
In the Spring & Summer, keep the grass cut, the shrubs trimmed, and store
miscellaneous lawn equipment.
In the Fall & Winter, rake up leaves and clear snow away from sidewalks and
entrances.
Clean or paint the front door, replace any broken glass or torn screens.
Clean and paint the interior of your home, remove clutter.
Replace missing or burnt out light bulbs.
Fix leaky faucets.
Fix stuck or sticking doors.
Organize closets and leave closets open when showing the home.
Pull back drapes and open blinds when showing the home.
Turn on interior and exterior lights when showing during evening hours.
Have as few people at the home as possible, when showing.
Put pets away.
